In 1999, I graduated with an BFA in Painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art. Later, I moved New York city to pursue my masters in illustration atThe School of Visual Arts. While in graduate school, I discovered a whole new way to bring my stories to life through stop motion animation. In 2003, I graduated with an MFA and my thesis project Norman, a short film, was given an award for most outstanding thesis out of my graduating class. Since then I have divided my time between animation and illustration. My animated shorts have shown in the US and abroad. My illustrations have been used in national publications, television, and iPhone game apps.
